How can I turn off the beep sound?

To turn the beep on/off, you can press the right 【Ctrl】 key twice, followed by the 【B】 key and then press 【Enter】.

If your keyboard doesn't work with the hotkey, try using another generic keyboard instead.

We have created a video that demonstrates common hotkeys. You can find the video in the User Menu section of our website.

Why is My Gaming or High-Speed Mouse Laggy or Freezing Sometimes?
(USB 2.0 Model Switch)

To avoid mouse freezes (USB 2.0 models) when the mouse hotkey is on, it's recommended that you set up your mouse report rate to 125 or less.

If you not sure how to set it up, you can also turn off the mouse hotkey by pressing Right [CTRL], Right[CTRL], [m], [Enter], and you don't need to worry about any mouse issues.

Of course, you can still use the wired remote, one-button switch, or the keyboard: double [CTRL] switching.

If you want to keep your mouse switching and choose to lower your mouse report rate, please follow these steps:

1. Plug your mouse into the USB 2.0 Hub port.

2. Open your mouse software settings, set your mouse report rate to 125 or lower, and save the changes.

3. Unplug your mouse from the hub port and plug it into the dedicated mouse port with a mouse icon."

Monitors do not display, or images show improperly:

1. First, check if the cables are properly connected. You can try swapping them to see if the problem is with the cables themselves.

2. Avoid using adapters or docking stations if possible. Instead, use conversion cables such as HDMI to DP, DP to HDMI, or Type C to HDMI that support your monitor's resolution and refresh rate.

3. Check if your monitor's resolution settings are aligned with the supported resolution as described in the manual. Also, check if your computers support your target external monitors, for example a M1 MacBook pro only support 1 external monitor and if you connect dual monitor KVM with two monitors, only one will work.

4. Try a lower resolution and refresh rate.

5. If the issue occurs intermittently, try resetting the KVM by pressing the right 【Ctrl】 key twice, followed by the 【Esc】 key three times, and then pressing 【Enter】. Make sure the hotkey function is on and that your keyboard is plugged into the USB keyboard port.

My gaming mouse or mechanical keyboard functions are not working. What shall I do?

Some special keyboards and mice may not work properly when connected to the designated rear USB ports. If this is the case, please try the following:

1 .Plug your keyboard or mouse into the USB 3.0 HUB ports.

2. Alternatively, turn off the hotkey function by pressing the hotkey on/off key on the front panel or by using the keyboard shortcut

(Keyboard hotkey)
Right [CTRL], Right [CTRL], [K], [Enter].

(Mouse hotkey)
Right [CTRL], Right [CTRL], [M], [Enter].

This will change the dedicated USB keyboard and mouse ports or only one of them  to standard USB ports, and you should have no problem with your keyboard and mouse.

3.If your gaming keyboard doesn't function at all (keyboard lights are all off when connecting), it means your keyboard is too fast for the switch's software. In this case, switch to another normal keyboard and follow step (2). Then switch back to your gaming keyboard. Alternatively, you can turn off all hotkeys using the Hotkey on/off button."

Why does my screen or task window resize or move to other places after switching? Or why does my refresh rate change?

The DP KVM lacks a simulated EDID function, which can cause the problem you're experiencing. Unfortunately, all DP KVMs on the market lack this function, but it's only available on HDMI KVMs.

However, you can fix this problem by using a software called PersistentWindows. You can download the software from the following link: https://github.com/kangyu-california/PersistentWindows/releases .

You can also search for 'PersistentWindows' on Google, click on the first result from GitHub, and scroll down to 'Installation > Releases' to download the PersistentWindows5.41.zip file.

Why both keyboard and mouse are not working?

For USB 3.0 models:
Please make sure that you have connected the USB cables between the KVM switch and your computers. If not, the front USB ports will not work.

For USB 2.0 models:
please check if you connect the special KVM cables between KVM and your computers; otherwise, it will not work.

Does it work with adapters or docking station?

Yes, but it's likely that using adapters or docking stations will cause problems such as blackout or screen flickering because the signals are weakened by the adapters or docking station.
Most docking stations are not able to handle more than one video source output.

We recommend using good conversion cables such as HDMI to DP, DP to HDMI, or Type C to HDMI that support your monitor's resolution and refresh rate.

Why can I not get extended displays, or why does only one monitor work?

1. Make sure your computer supports dual display, verify this by connecting two monitors to your computers directly.
2. Make sure you set your computer as an extended display.  Hold down  the【Window key】 + 【P】, then choose 【extended】
3. Ensure each computer has 2 video connections to the correspondent in A & B port (using reliable adapters if needed).

The keyboard and/or mouse do not work.

1. Make sure the included USB cable is well connected to the computers and the other end of the USB is plugged into the correspondent USB (Type B) port on the KVM, and KVM is powered on.
2. If the keyboard and mouse stop working after some time, press the right 【Ctrl】 twice + 【ESC】 three times, then 【Enter】 to restore the hotkey to the factory setting.

Attention: Corsair K70 keyboard

If you want to use a Corsair K70 keyboard with the "2 computers 1 HDMI monitor USB 2.0" or "2 computers 1 DP monitor USB 2.0" model,

you need to adjust your keyboard's BIOS setting. Move the BIOS switch to the right side, close to the word 'BIOS,' to ensure the hotkey function works properly. If you don't adjust the BIOS setting, the hotkey function may not work correctly and cause issues.

Alternatively, you can turn off the hotkey function by pressing Right [CTRL] + Right [CTRL] + [K] + [Enter].

How Can I deactivate the mouse-switching function?

1. plug your mouse into one of the USB3.0 Hub Ports
2. Or turn off the mouse hotkey by pressing the right 【Ctrl】 twice → 【M】, then 【Enter】.
